Let's get ready for CIJ 2018!

June 30th 2017

Tomorrow starts CIJ for 2018.  I have been doing CIJ since 2009 and enjoy it thoroughly.  I love being able to read other CIJ blogposts – it makes my heart happy.
This year I will be using some journaling prompts and answering them here.  Some will be short and some will be longer.
I will also continue with Friday nights at the movies.
I hope you enjoy your journey with me until July 25th.

June 25th!  Exactly 6 months to Christmas!  My blogposts are all ready for Christmas in July :)
June 23rd was our 28th wedding anniversary... as usual I forgot about it! MIL reminded me and she is 90 years old :)  Nothing special was done (more tummy problems again) but we spent a nice day at home.  It's a 3 day weekend for everyone here as our national holiday - St-Jean-Baptiste is on the 24th and everyone has a day off (this year will be the Monday following).   I took Friday off (vacation day) so it gives me a 4-day weekend.

Very busy week and even busier weekend.  DD spent the week here and seems to be doing better with her gut problems.  She will FINALLY be starting her new medication this week.  She had 4 vaccines last week before starting the medication for her auto-immune disease.  I was off work on Friday (changed with my Monday off) because Monday I have some training.  Town looks like it is under siege with the army and police because of the G-7 summit.
Last weekend was my cousin's wedding - we had a very nice time and it was quite a nice wedding.

Was a busy week at work and lots of running around for errands.  Our car was in the shop too so I travelled with my husband for work this week.  I had a doctor's appointment on Monday (just a regular checkup) and an ostheopathe appointment on Tuesday (shorter work week!)
My husband got his new glasses and I finally chose mine on Friday so I'll be getting them soon.   My husband's birthday was this week and some family  and cousins came by to chat that night.
My daughter was here for the weekend and met us in town for supper and some mom -daughter shopping afterwards.  She is having another acute episode of crohn's disease.  She ended up going to the emergency room and got more medication and a week off work, which she will be spending here.
